Biography
I am the LOCHE Endowed Professor of Law at Southern University Law Center (SULC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I have taught for 20 years. I specialize in constitutional law, particularly in the criminal and religion areas, and also in Evidence and Professional Responsibility. I also work as a legislative consultant for various groups in and out of the state of Louisiana, as well as to various lawmakers. In that role I have written and testified as an expert regarding numerous pieces of legislation. Please see my resume for a list.
