I am an AV-rated attorney and the LOCHE Endowed Professor of Law at Southern University Law Center (SULC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I specialize in constitutional law, particularly criminal and religious issues, as well as evidence and legal ethics. I also serve as a legislative consultant to a number of groups in and out of Louisiana, am a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Louisiana State Advisory Committee) and the Louisiana Law Institute (Committee on Criminal Law & Evidence).
